My Story

From my student days travelling to Brighton at weekends to scour antique shops, I’ve always had a passion for vintage jewellery.

Three decades later our house was burgled whilst we were away and all my jewellery, built up over so many years, was stolen. Instead of replacing it with new pieces I immersed myself in the world of auctions and antique fairs once again to painstakingly rebuild my collection.

This reignited love of vintage jewellery led to the creation of BoldGold.

I started BoldGold as I was able to buy unusual and unique solid gold pieces at affordable prices, and I was often asked by friends, and occasionally strangers in the street, where I had bought them from. It was clear there was a charm in these timeless pieces that new high street jewellery often missed.

Every piece at BoldGold is handpicked from reputable traders and auction houses, ensuring authenticity and quality. While I only buy jewellery that I love and would wear myself, my two daughters in their twenties keep me in touch with what is on-trend. All the jewellery at BoldGold is unique, one-off and exquisite in its own right.
